Your Weekly Reset to Prevent Burnout

Burnout prevention isn’t only about rest. It’s also about reducing the chaos that steals your rest.

A weekly reset is a small ritual that helps you enter the week with fewer surprises and more choice.

The 20-minute weekly reset

Do this once a week (Sunday evening or Monday morning):

1) Look at your calendar: What are the heavy days?

2) Choose your ‘non-negotiables’: sleep, movement, family time blocks.

3) Identify one pressure point: What could derail the week?

4) Decide one support: delegate, ask, reschedule, simplify.

5) Plan one enjoyable thing: something small, something real.

A work-home handoff ritual

Try a 3-minute transition when you finish work:

• Write down what’s unfinished (so your brain can release it).

• Choose the first thing you’ll do at home (so you arrive on purpose).

• Take three slow breaths before you walk in.

The point isn’t control

The point is care. You’re building a life that can hold your ambition and your relationships.

Want support building a sustainable rhythm?

If you’re carrying a lot right now, at work and at home, support can make the difference between surviving and actually feeling like yourself again.
