Take the Ten Minute Challenge to Combat Burnout

When life gets busy, joy is often the first thing we postpone.
We tell ourselves we’ll get back to it after the deadline, after the season, after the kids are older, after the promotion.
But joy isn’t a reward for finishing. It’s fuel for continuing.
Why enjoyment matters more than you think
Doing something you enjoy reminds your nervous system that you are more than your output.
It also gives you a place to succeed without being evaluated.
The ‘tiny joy’ rule
Pick one enjoyable thing and make it small enough that you can’t argue with it.
Not ‘I’ll start a new hobby.’ Try ‘I’ll do 10 minutes of the thing I already love.’
Three ways to protect it
1) Put it on the calendar like an appointment.
2) Pair it with something you already do (after dinner, before bed, during lunch).
3) Tell one person so it becomes real.
If you feel guilty
Try this reframe: ‘This is how I stay well enough to show up for the people I love.’
Want support building a sustainable rhythm?
If you’re carrying a lot right now, at work and at home, support can make the difference between surviving and actually feeling like yourself again.
